How to Paint Top Ceiling

Most people will choose white as the color of ceiling, but ceiling can be a variety of colors, such as dark blue starry sky or sea blue to blur the boundary between the ceiling and room, so that the ceiling and the wall are closer. It won't disturb the unity of the matching scheme of the original color.


Step 1 : How to prepare the paint and tools correctly

Step 2 : Prepare space

A common question is as follows: "What should I spray first, the ceiling or the wall ?" I should always spray the ceiling before the wall, and always cover all objects below the ceiling with a rag. Try to completely empty the furniture to simplify the work. Additionally, please try to remove the ceiling lamp. If the fixture cannot be unloaded, please use a protective film to wrap the lamp so that the paint does not splash onto the lamp.




Step 3 : How to paint ceilings and walls

First of all, start painting from the intersection between the ceiling and the wall. Cut into the ceiling like a corner. Start with the ceiling line, brush into the corner and coat 2-3 inches with a brush, then apply it down to the wall. If you don 't want to paint the wall, use an analytical paper or protective film to protect the wall or use a brush to cut a straight line along the edge of the wall.

Switch from the brush to the roller, and start painting the other parts of the ceiling. Start from the corner of the ceiling and roll to the nearest position from the window so that you can see the ray of light that reflects the wet paint on the window. Roll the brush back and forth until it is balanced.


Step 4 : How to paint ceilings and walls

In each time, the roller is loaded, it starts from the unpainted area and then returns to the painted area. Paint the ceiling once to make the coating dry evenly. Wait for the coating to dry and to determine whether a second coating is required.
